Gallbladder aids in fat digestion and bile produced by the liver. The gallbladder is a small, sometimes forgotten organ that resides right beneath the liver.
Gallstones come from diets that are high in fats and low in fiber. If you are overweight, have a family history for gallbladder problems or if you are a woman, you are more likely to be at risk for gallbladder disease.

Start eating leaner meats like turkey and fish. These will help you to lose weight and keep your bile movements in control. Losing extra weight will help you keep a healthy gallbladder as well. All the stored up fat in your body is affecting your organs if you can start to get rid of that extra mass, it will have resulting impact on your internal organs.
Eating whole grain foods will helpful too. Any type of food that does not accelerate or excite a bile movement will keep your gallbladder working all right.
It is when there is too much bile that the poor organ can't handle, that it starts being turned into stones. So you want to cut back on bile movements, that means cut back on anything that is high in fat or grease content.
Other symptoms of gallbladder disease is constipation, loss of appetite, or bitter fluids come up when eating. These are all because you are backed up in your internal tract.
If you are experiencing these types of symptoms try to get more fiber in your diet. That will clean out all the hard stuff and also act like a laxative.
Take care of your gallbladder even though it is small and you can live without it, it can give you a lot of pain if you mistreat it.
