Beans are wonderful, even magical. These seemingly simple fruit can actually do a great deal more than you would expect.
They are a wonderful source of lean protein and they are practically a walking vitamin b complex-except they are just beans and cannot walk. We eat them with everything, with our burritos, with our tacos, with our enchiladas, on the side of tostadas, even mixed in with our salads.
So if beans are so great what in the heck is so special about Garbanzo beans. Well they are actually quite a bit better than those regular old brown beans, and even a little more adept than the discolored black been.
Garbanzo beans are packed with tons of protein and fiber and magnesium and all sorts of nutrients, because of the wide variety of nutrients that are found in the garbanzo bean it is known as, "the versatile garbanzo"- at least that's what I call it.
Magnesium is hugely responsible for our nerves and muscle functions; it keeps our muscle strong and our nerves reacting fast. 50 percent of the magnesium found in our body is in our bones; that means that we are going to need these beans to protect our bones.
Fiber is a huge player as well. Fiber is all around good for your body and soul.
It will clean your body of that nasty gunk that's caught up inside your intestinal tract and kidneys, and it will actually help increase digestion and metabolism. Despite cleaning out your body it will also raise your energy levels.
Having increased energy levels is a sought after goal by many men and women, and many of them do not know how to help improve this. Well it is simple, eat fiber, simply grab a handful of these "versatile garbanzos" and toss them on your salad or just toss them in your mouth.
Zinc, which is found in exuberant amounts in such legumes, is a very important part of our nutritious diet. Zinc does a lot of things in our bodies first of which it help control and maintain protein synthesis.
Without our proteins being synthesized every day our cells would have no tools to work with. Proteins are like the raw materials used to make everything in our body.
If I went up to some body and stripped them of all their protein, I imagine they would become something similar to a clear gelatinous blob. So it is important that we have proteins in our bodies and that they are being synthesized.
Garbanzo beans are packed with protein, and with the zinc that goes with it you can use all the protein you can consume, depending on your daily activities and amount of ingested protein. So make yourself some garbanzo bean dip and eat it. Destry Masterson is a health and nutrition expert. She publishes articles for http://www.dailybread.com and recommends them for food storage.
