Generally, we women do not really want to bulk up like the men do. So we have to find ourselves different routines that will help us stay slender and sexy.
These routines are mostly going to be aerobic exercises. So if you are not motivated enough to work out on your own, take your butt and join an aerobics class at your local gym; you could also try yoga and Pilates, both are great.
First and best routine to implement into your workout routine is the daily walk or jog. This is the best way your body knows how to burn calories.
By standing up and moving from place to place, we let our bodies know that they need to start burning calories to energize our bodies and hearts. When we walk we have to use your entire body to stay balanced even though it doesn't seem like we are using anything but our legs-this is just because we are so accustomed to walking motion; I mean c'mon most of us have been doing it since we were two.
The reality of the situation is we use our whole entire bodies to walk. The best way to burn calories is through using your whole body and if you want to burn a lot of them it is easiest to do so with aerobic exercises.
A great workout to shape your buns and thighs would be knee highs. This is where you lift your knee as high toward your chest as you can, then lower and do it with the other knee.
This stretches the thigh and buttocks; by stretching muscle it not only becomes more flexible, but it becomes stronger as well. That is right a great way to build strength in muscles is to stretch them.
Just like when you contract them, stretching your muscles tears the muscle fibers then your body sends proteins to go make new ones. And that is the story of how muscles are made.
Squats are also a good one to do; it works all those muscles the knee high will but only in the opposite way. Instead of exerting energy to relieve tension and stretch your muscles, you will lower your buttocks, while keeping your back straight, toward the ground to create tension in the thighs and buttocks.
Working your legs affects fat build up around your entire body. When we burn calories our bodies don't care where they get it from all they care about is getting the energy they need.
Burning fat calories is a lot harder than burning regular calories, because the body has to go through the process of turning the fat back into burnable calorie form. So it is best to stay in shape without ever getting over weight. Destry Masterson is a health, fitness and nutrition expert.
