Legs are one of the first things people will notice from a distance, because they account for about forty percent of the body- give or take a little depending on the individual. Do you want strikingly fine legs and a defined booty to match?
Well it's easier done than said, but I will still try to tell you exactly how to do it. First let's look at some of the benefits strong legs give us, besides being attractive.
Strong muscles in our legs will make it easier for us to walk; when we walk easily we can walk great distances, thus making transportation easier. So without going into too much depth I will just tell you: increasing your leg strength will increase your ability to walk. Well if walking isn't a good enough reason to get your legs in shape, what about for your joints sake.
Having strong muscles in your legs will help to relieve pressure from your joints, thus preventing joint pain and arthritis and other similar disorders. So your leg muscles do a lot.
Well to work them without running around town like a sweaty mess all you need is an elastic exercise band. That's right it is all you need and it works perfectly.
First workout to perform is the squat. This is don't like a regular squat, but to incorporate the band you will want to make some adjustments.
First stand on the center of the band, then reach down and pick the band up. There should be some resistance in the band at this point.
Lift your arms to increase tension between the band; this will turn your squat workouts into a bicep and forearm workout as well. No slowly lower your buttocks toward the ground all the while keeping your movements in control.
Your resistance to the downward pull of the band is going to work your legs, and the band resistance to your upward movement will also work your legs. This is an intense way to do squats, and will tone your thighs and buttocks.
Another good work out for you women is the band hip abduction. Wrap the band around both legs twice like you are tying them together.
Do this in sitting position, and once you have successfully caused your immobility work you inner thighs by moving your knees away from each other against the tension of the band.
