Wake up and eat breakfast, this is the first step to getting in shape. Yes, that is right; eating is the first thing to getting in shape.
You want to be careful about what you are eating; eating junky fast food and high calorie foods with empty carbs is going to be mal-beneficial. So I will walk you through what I eat so that you can have a great breakfast and life like me.
First thing is wake up; if you are not determined enough to wake up in the morning, then how the heck can you take yourself serious when you say that you want to lose weight and become fit? I would submit that you are deluding yourself and the first thing you must do is exercise some discipline.
I wake up at 7:30, depending on your schedule you might have to amend the time. It is good for adults to try and get around seven to nine hours of sleep; any more than that will cause lethargy, and any less will cause exhaustion.
Take two grade A eggs and two slices of low sodium, low calorie turkey bacon. First you will want to fry up the bacon because it takes a bit longer to cook.
What I do is, I take a large pan and about mid-way through the process of cooking the bacon, right after I flip them, I add the two eggs to the pan. This will make it so they both finish cooking at the same time.
The eggs and turkey bacon are high in iron and protein. Iron will give you an added boost of vigor early in the morning, and the protein will give you sustaining power throughout the day.
Once they are cooked to your liking, take them and add them to two slices of whole wheat or multi-grain bread. This is called a sandwich (as if you didn't already know that).
The wheat bread is great to sustain energy as well, but it doesn't hold as many calories as the protein rich eggs and bacon. So this will keep you toned and prevent you from gaining weight.
Lastly I eat one cup of yogurt, preferably fat free Greek yogurt. This is wonderful for the metabolism process.
Yogurt is packed with pre-biotic and pro-biotic enzymes that help in the digestion and disruption of food throughout the body. In studies, it was shown that ladies that incorporated yogurt into a low-calorie diet lost up to 40 percent more weight than those who did not.
While cooking the meat and eggs it is good to drink about two glasses of water. Doing this for your breakfast routine will amaze you, and you will notice changes in your well-being the very first day. Destry Masterson is an author who has written hundreds of articles.
