Jumping on trampolines is often thought of for little kids, well it is, but it is also for whoever may want to strengthen their body. There are many different types of trampolines and many different ways to use them.
There are the little personal trampolines; these can be used for women and cardio exercises at home, however they can also be used for complicated stunts requiring intense and dynamic maneuvers. The limit to what you can do with a tramp is endless.
I like these smaller trampolines when I need to jump on to a larger trampoline: it is perfect, just a quick hop and you're up. They also come in handy when you need get up a wall; set them near the wall get a good run bounce and then use the rest of your forward momentum to direct you up the wall.
Now when jumping off of walls you will want trampolines a bit larger. In my experience, these seem to be much easier and more comfortable to land on.
Jumping off of things is very thrilling, but it is usually not that much of a work out. However, continuous jumps on a small or large trampoline will burn cardio like a coal train.
This will also create some hard definition in your legs. Having strong legs is a must these days.
For example if you are at the beach, and for some reason you either have to catch someone or escape them, it is going to be your leg power driving you to the win. Having strong legs won't just make you win, but it will also make you look good while you do it.
When jumping on a trampoline you have greatly increased hang time, which is the time you spend in the air. Having more time in the air will make it much easier to perform stunts.
Simple stunts include spins and flips; complicated stunts combine both of those and incorporate combinations as well. When learning to perform stunts on a trampoline you will have to work out every muscle in your body.
If you spend a day on the tramp doing flips and jumping about everywhere, I can guarantee your body will be sore. Just look at the gymnasts that perform on the tramp in the Olympics.
Those guys are built, they have to be too. It is not easy to come out of a triple flip and land on your feet.
At that rate and speed changing or stopping movement takes great muscle control and strength. So the trampoline is great for getting stronger and great for having fun.
