Men, eating healthy is not a girly thing to do. In fact, men that eat healthy foods (e.g. five servings of fruits and vegetables) were found to be 80 percent more fertile than those who had no fruit or vegetable in their diet.
Eating nutritious foods benefits so many functions of the body: circulation, muscle functions, cell reproduction etc. All these things are important for fertility, without proper cell reproduction you will not have any sperm cells.
These little knuckle heads are the cells that will impregnate women; studies have shown that certain foods, like celery for instance, will increase the amount of spermatozoa in males. There are many things that will subtract the amount of sperm cells as well, for example, smoking marijuana (which is illegal in some places) will decrease sperm production, and hot tubing will decrease sperm count.
Taking any sort of prescription drug will also destroy sperm as well. Some are much worse than others, for example any sort of amphetamine will greatly decrease the amount of cells, where opiates only will kill about half the amount.
Drugs not only affect you sperm count but they also affect your performance too. Many drugs and even alcohol will inhibit the body's ability to execute the task.
Interestingly enough, when men drink alcohol their inhibitions are dropped making them desire or act on their desires for sex. But at the same time the alcohol is increasing their estrogen levels, which will have adverse effects for the male
Avoiding the right type of substances and eating the correct foods is only part of fertility. Exercise is another big player for fruitfulness.
The body's organs function around blood flow; so if you have a healthy amount of blood flowing throughout your body, you probably have a great abundance of reproductive cells. Working out and increasing your cardio performance is one part of it, but a bigger part is the testosterone you get when you work out.
Testosterone is basically man juice, it increases your energy levels, it makes you hungrier, and it also helps in the manufacturing of the reproductive cells. So if you are not already working out daily, start doing that for your future children's sake.
Basically a healthy lifestyle is the best way to get your wife pregnant. Remember to eat right and exercise and this will not only keep you feeling good, but will also help in the production of babies.
Avoid alcohol, drugs, and hot tubs. All these things may have adverse effects on your fertility and should be shunned if you wish for reproduction.
