There is no specific definition available for high functioning Autism, but in general the term gets applied to those who have Autism and are able to function significantly more than others who are Autistic. There are people who are able to do normal tasks such as read, write, sing or perform daily tasks. It also helps to check their gestures, posture and facial expressions, which are the most direct way to determine a person's attitude, behavior and relationships. The person may sometimes become extremely aggressive or afraid for no apparent reason.
Sometimes people with this syndrome are attracted to a specific color, smell or object. However, in some cases they may not notice smells or colors at all.
In some cases, they may have an extreme desire to complete a task that they have already begun.
