Work Your Pectorals Like A Pro

Working your pecs isn't hard it just takes work. If you are very weak and can hardly perform a push up that is ok.

You can start with simple weight lifting routines like the bench press. Start with a lower amount of weights if you need to, where ever is comfortable is best for you.

When doing bench presses it is always good to exercise caution. It is possible that if you could not support the weight of the bar then you may be liable to drop it on you self.

This could cause broken ribs, punctured lungs, or maybe it would crush the soft tissue of the neck causing asphyxiation. All of these things could lead to possible death and that is why it is good to always have a spotter to help you through the exercise in case if anything were to go wrong.

Once you have built up enough strength to push your own body up from the floor, begin doing pushups. There are many different ways to preform pushups: V-ups, regular pushups, one legs, and one hand pushups as well.

Pushups are the most common way to exercise your pecks, but they also affect a multitude of other muscles within your body. Basically everything from your waist up is worked by performing pushups.

By spreading your arms further apart will cause for different muscles to be exercised during the routine. This will consequently result in different muscle development.

So it is good to understand and be sure what it is you want out of your exercise so that you can train for that specific purpose. If you are trying to define your pecs you will want to do different exercises than if you are trying to bulk up.

Keep that in mind and decide what it is that you would like to do with your body modifying work outs. There are also many dumbbell exercises that can be done to exercise specific parts of the pectorals.

Using dumbbells will give you a intensified level of control over your workouts. Having control over your workouts will give you better control over your body.

And isn't that what we all want, a heightened level of control. Working at the gym is a good place to go.

When you are at home exercising with pushups and dumbbells the routines almost feel like they are aerobic. When you go to the gym you can obliterate your muscles with some heart stopping anaerobic exercises.

Anaerobic exercises are exercises that you do not breathe with. You focus all your energy in pushing specific muscles as far as they can go.

Then you breathe again, anaerobic exercises are the best way to build muscle mass.
