It's important to have plenty of fiber in your diet. Ideally, you should be eating the foods that are high in fiber, but adding fiber to a meal is helpful also.
Fiber is a zero-calorie element in plant foods that helps to hold them together. The outer surface of grains is called bran and this is beneficial as a great source of insoluble fiber, meaning that it is not absorbed into the body, but is cleansing to the digestive system.
Then there is a soluble fiber such as that found in beans, apples, and many other fruits, vegetables and certain other plant foods. This type of fiber is absorbed into the blood stream, but is not a nutrient, it just helps to cleanse the arteries and veins.
By eating a high-fiber diet complete with grains, beans, fruits, and vegetables, you can enjoy the benefits of a clean body and a feeling of energy that comes along with having an effectively functioning circulatory, respiratory, and organ systems.
One thing that is helpful for teens who eat a high-fiber diet is the ability to have clearer skin. When the liver and digestive system don't have to deal with so much of the constipating, no-fiber animal products and junk foods, then the bodily system is much cleaner.
There is less infection reaching the face and extra hormones are carried out. Teens can not only enjoy a clear complexion, but they can also have better moods since high-fiber plant foods also have plenty of vitamins and minerals to help a teen feel happier and more perky.
Of course, it's also important to exercise as this will only complement the benefits of the fiber in the diet. And, drinking plenty of water according to thirst will do a lot towards a cleaner body.
Fiber is often referred to as a sort of broom that cleanses the body. It is possible that as things start getting cleansed that it could be a little worse at first before becoming better, just like sweeping stirs up the dust.
But, generally, the fiber is actively carrying out excess and fats and toxins, so a person should be feeling more energy. Many people in America are paranoid about getting enough protein in their diets and often turn to animal products to get this protein.
What they don't realize is that the high-fiber plant foods are also rich in sufficient protein for human needs that is actually even more usable and natural. Eating concentrated protein such as is in animal products will contribute to clogging of the arteries, kidneys, and digestive system.
The result can be kidney stones, heart attacks, diarrhea, constipation, strokes, and arthritis. However, if a high-fiber diet is adopted, a person will soon feel relieved of previous painful symptoms and diseases.
It's not good to eat animal products in excess anyway, their purpose is sparingly and for times of famine. So, by adopting a high-fiber eating plan, you can enjoy more energy, a cleaner body, less pain and disease.
