Many people think that if you want to lose weight you have to turn your life upside down, give up your friends and move to a different state. No, none of this stuff is necessary.

Most people are overweight simply because of inactivity. A study was done between 20 people, ten male and ten female, there were five fit males and five fit females the other have was unfit.

The study monitored the actions of both groups and found some pretty astound results. The fit group was up for about two hours more each day than the unfit group.

The unfit group spent those two hours of the day on the couch watching television or reading or doing something that wasn't very physically demanding. The active group burned 350 calories more each day than the other group; that equals out to almost 36 pounds a year.

Now that is something to think about. Instead of watching television, listen to music and go for a walk.

Find things that cause you to get up and get motivated to move. Maybe you could join a sports ball team or some sort of dance class.

Both of these are great ways to lose weight and they are fun and entertaining methods at the same time. However, if you want to start burning fat fast there are some ways you can accelerate the process.

This may take a slightly larger change than just starting to move. Look at what you are eating; if it is not healthy throw it out.

Get Greek yogurt and incorporate that into a breakfast meal. Doing this will help your metabolism throughout the entire day.

In a study down between two overweight groups of women: one group started eating yogurt with a low-calorie diet, and the other group did not. The ladies that ate yogurt lost 40 percent more weight than the other ladies.

That is because yogurt is packed with prebiotics and probiotics, which just super charge your metabolism and digestive system. These are good to eat for people who have trouble digesting food too.

Also start performing full body routines this will allow you to burn more calories because you will be using all your muscles. So if you go for a run in the morning then you can do pushups and bicep curls in the evening and crunches in the afternoon.

Aerobic routines are going to allow you to burn a lot more calories than other exercises, because you slowly raise your heart rate without putting too much stress on the muscles. In spin classes it is possible to burn up to a thousand calories in just one class.
