Fast food corporations are selling some pretty despicable stuff. But as consumers we are enabling them.
I don't think we need to picket and rally against any food organizations, and suing them is a cheap way to make money and holds no class. I would say it is our responsibility to abstain from fatty fast foods and spend our money on healthier food alternatives.
The corporations that get the most business can keep their prices the lowest; this is simple economics. If we move our business to less popular, healthier fast food alternative we will be doing all of society a huge favor.
By allowing businesses and companies of that sort to grow, we can ensure their survival for future generations. If our unborn posterity was alive to tell us I bet they would be pretty grateful to the fact that we were just thinking about them.
Besides changing society for the better, we could also change our bodies and lifestyles too. It is no secret, eating healthy make you healthy.
The fast foods that are so easily available to eat are stripped of all the nutrients we might get. The fries are deep fried and deprived of anything but fatty starch and cholesterol.
The burgers are all pumped full of binders and additives, and not to mention the preservatives and flavor enhancers; some of these actually have been shown to have pretty negative effects on the body and health. So being cautious of what you eat may save your life or at least add a few additional years to it.
Since these foods hold no nutrients and can actually have some pretty severe repercussions. I would suggest not eating them at all.
However if you need something fast in between jobs, I would suggest that you look for a healthy alternative. Instead of a burger with fries and a soda, which can easily be close to two thousand calories in one meal, try getting a veggie burger with a salad and water.
This will hold a lot more nutrients for you, and this will make you feel and perform better in all the endeavors that may follow through the day. Most of the nutrients we deprive ourselves of come from fruits and vegetables.
Knowing this helps your health a lot. Try to instead of getting a burger or a pizza, to get a healthy fruit smoothie.
Your body will thank you for it. There are many smoothie shops that are good healthy alternatives to fast foods.
For example there is the orange peel, you can ask them to hold the sweetener this will cut back on calories a lot. They are also willing to add a shot of wheat grass to any drink upon request.
