Fast food corporations are changing the way we eat. Convenience and speed are the two aspects of concern replace quality and value of the food.
When I was I boy I thought everybody in the future would just have healthy food all over the place. But unfortunately it looks like we are moving backwards.
Many people do not seem to know or care about health and or nutrition. Some people have been addicted to the stuff sense they were young.
It is sad to see so many people deteriorate in unhealthy lifestyles. Fast food becomes a bad habit for many people because of the cost and accessibility in which it is served.
But if we knew the first thing about nutrition we would know that these foods are depriving our bodies of vital nutrients. These are necessary for proper organ functioning.
The meat in burgers is pumped full of so many binders and additives that this stuff doesn't only deprive you of nutrition, but also packs you full of garbage. So while your kidney is being deprived of the vitamins it needs to function properly you are also throwing very strange chemicals at it.
The combination of the two is a big contributor to weight gain. The low prices are very tempting for people who have little or no self-discipline.
It has been shown in studies around the globe that weight gain is directly related to fast food in many scenarios. There was a study done at Berkley UC that showed the impact of fast foods in high schools.
The results of the study were astounding and quite frightening. People are simply not health conscientious.
A good way to supplement your meals for healthy alternatives is by getting healthy fruit smoothies, and replacing your greasy hamburgers with grilled chicken burgers with extra tomatoes and no mayo. This will greatly benefit your diet and subsequently your health as well.
A great place to get your fruit smoothies are at orange peels. These are pretty healthy if you ask them to hold the sweetener.
You can also have them add a shot of wheat grass for only a dollar and fifty cents. Wheat grass is terribly good for, and does an enormous amount for your skin, hair, and nails.
Another good fast food substitute would be emerald city smoothie. These places are mainly in places around the east coast.
Their whole marketing scheme is set around making fast food healthy. So if you want to start getting the nutrition your body deserves start thinking about what you eat.
Changing your diet and eating habits will change your life. Look at me I did it so can you. Destry Masterson is a health and nutrition expert. She publishes articles for http://www.foodinsurance.com and recommends them for food storage.
