Many people don't have time or money to spend on exercises. Well truth is you do not have to change a single thing you are already doing and you can get fit.

Ok, I don't think you can sit on the couch all day and expect to get fit. But if you are spending long amounts of time on the couch maybe get a set of hand weights.

You will be surprised at how just simple little exercises during television shows will change things. Even if you are just flexing your abdomen for the length of a commercial, you probably just burned an extra five calories.

The flex challenge is a very effective way to keep yourself on your toes, try to have fun with it. Every time you walk through a door way flex your muscles, every time you turn a corner flex your buttocks, every time your phone rings flex your arms.

Just try to figure out fun ways to keep yourself a little more active. Also setting goals is a wonderful way to get fit.

The plus one challenge is a good one. In whatever exercise you do, just increase by one every day or so.

If you run, run for one minute longer each day, soon enough you will be running nonstop. If you are doing pushups, just do one more push up a day.

The idea behind this is that everyone can do just one more. It doesn't matter where you start just be sure you are constantly getting better.

Reward yourself, do you need extra motivation to get out and do things. Well give yourself a goal and a reward: if I walk to the supermarket I can buy myself a coffee, or a slurpy if it's hot outside.

When you are waiting for things, or brushing your teeth. Dentists recommend that your brush your teeth for a good two minutes.

Turn it into a two minute squat routine, this one is actually quite effective in the mornings. It will wake you up, get your blood pumping.

Getting your blood moving in the morning is going to stimulate awareness and also increase your metabolism. This will help you lose weight and will also help you get more out of your day.

If you are one of those people that feel groggy or sleepy all day, it is probably because you haven't been exerting yourself properly. You might say, "That would make me feel more tired."

But after you exercise your heart rate will be increased and you will begin to feel some adrenaline in your veins. Also exercising will build resting energy, so the next day you have more build up energy to spend.
