Drugs, there is a lot to say on such a broad topic. To begin yes they may be appealing, if you happen to be a weak minded dead beat with no ambition or desire for personal preservation.
In the case that you are one of those people, then I won't judge you while you eat your drugs and get all high and stoned. However, if you are not a weak minded dead beat with no ambition or desire for personal preservation then, sorry to say, I will frown upon you.
You see, drugs are terrible things. Some people may say, "It is my life, I do what I want."
Well that is fine do what you want, but the way I see it is these drugs cause a lot of problems and usually, when used, consume entire lives. I appreciate and respect production-I guess you could say I'm old fashioned like that.
The main things these drugs do is decrease production. Think of the things you could do with your life if you weren't busy throwing it away on garbage drugs.
What about those people who do all sorts of drugs and still produce massive amounts of stuff? Well to that I say, think about how much they could do if they weren't inhibited by such substances.
There are some drugs that are worse than others for example, a cigarette is not as bad as meth. One of these is going to consume your life and the other will just inhibit your life.
Addicts of either may end up dying earlier in life, more like the meth addict will die first, but there are some cases where smoking kills pretty fast. Smoking is something I would consider a drug.
Anything that induces false feelings I would define as a drug, even coffee is a bit of an overwhelming substance. Not only coffee, but also fast food packed with that Monosodium Glutamate (MSG).
Anything that can become addictive I would say is a drug. When you let an addiction come into your life you are giving up part of your agency to that addiction.
Though, by will power you can overcome any addiction so if you are already addicted to one or more things do not fret, for you can change. Find healthy ways to spend your time and keep busy to keep from destructive habits.
Real men have purpose and ambition and drones simply are. Are you comfortable living as a drone or do you want to have a purpose and put meaning to your life.
Find a desire within yourself and let it grow and build into an overwhelming ambition. Do not let drugs and addictions overwhelm your mind. Destry Masterson is a health, fitness and nutrition expert.
