There are many concerns when you are on long road trips: How can I keep my attention to the road, will this trip be worth it, what will happen to my weight. Well I have some tips and exercises that will make two of those questions seem irrelevant.
Though I cannot tell you or help you when it comes to the importance or worth of the trip you are on. But if you want to keep your attention up and weight down while on the road, it's easy.
All you need to do is follow the four rules: cardio, attention, reach, and strength, which just happens to be, by new influence of mine, an acronym that spells "cars". Interesting that the four rules to keeping awareness up and weight down, while on the road, would also spell the world cars.
Well first is cardio; this one is easy enough to understand. All you have got to do is keep your cardio strength pumping strong.
Keeping your cardio pumping means you are going to get your blood to travel to your brain and increase awareness and give you higher levels of mental acuity. "How will I do such a thing as keep my cardio pumping", you may ask.
It is easy - every time you stop for whatever the reason may be, except if you are stopping to sleep, go for a run and stretch as well. So every time you need to go to the bathroom, take a run and stretch too.
This is an easy way to keep your fitness up. Running is a really great way to burn calories, which will make you lose weight. Attention is the next rule. Keep focused on your goals to stay focused and stay fit.
Reach is the next. You have to be willing to work towards those goals you have.
If you really do not want to lose weight, you are going to have to work for not losing weight. I don't make the rules (like I mentioned before) that is just the way that it is.
Last one is strength, and just like "s" only changes the pluralization of the word car, so does strength only change a few aspects of your own road routine. This will take your routine to the next level, and instead of doing "just staying fit" you can actually increase your fitness.
For the multiplying benefits of "S", periodically stop, and start pushing your car. This is a great workout for your entire body, from the tips of your fingers to the tops of your toes.
Remember to incorporate C.A.R. and sometimes S. whenever you are driving long distances. Staying fit won't be a problem for you. Destry Master is a fitness expert, who has written hundreds of articles and recommends http://www.healthridercoupons.com/HealthRider_Ellipticals.html.
