Running does a great deal for your body and health. There are all sorts of studies showing that; people who run actually live up to twenty years longer than people who do not run, running releases a chemical in the face that tightens muscles, and those who run actually suffer from less diseases mentally, emotionally and physically.
Basically people at fancy colleges and universities have done research and found that running is a cure all, fix everything exercise. There are all sorts of reasons to run: do it for your spouse, do it for your children, and do it for yourself.
Running is Mother Nature's way of keeping people fit and healthy. It has been and always will be the most effective full body, cardio pumping workout.
When you run you have to keep your body balanced and your breathing relaxed, doing these things is going to really strengthen your core muscles. This will do a great deal for you.
Core muscles will shape your circulatory system, making blood flow much easier and smoother, which will improve the effectiveness of your heart. Spine and joints are also going to be strengthened tremendously by your core muscles, and this will prevent things like scoliosis or any skeletal problems.
And as long as your core is strong and healthy, balance is going to be second nature and easy. We all know as we age it gets harder to stand up straight and walk down stairs, so keep your standing and walking abilities strong by running every morning.
Besides just keeping your walking abilities strong, running is going to keep you looking and feeling young. It has been shown that when we run our bodies produce a chemical the shapes and tightens our facial muscles.
Think about it have you ever seen a runner that had a flabby face. The answer is no, you haven't, because they do not exist.
Do you have a flabby face? And does it make you self-conscious and feel insecure?
Well quite being a baby about it and start running, and it won't just tone your face but it will shape your entire body. Since running is such an aerobic exercise you are going to burn mass amounts of calories when you run.
Keep that in mind and let it motivate you as you run. Besides, running for a better shaped body or face is going to be much cheaper than any plastic surgery.
When you are healthy and you look good, you feel good. Those are two of the reasons runners are generally more emotionally stable than you non-runners.
Also, when you run, your body actually starts to create more serotonin, which is a chemical in the brain that makes you feel good; so that is another reason why these people are happier than you.
