Secret Power Of Vegetables

Vegetables are almost inconvenient to try to eat. You either have to pay extra for them with your meal if you are at a restaurant, or you have to go get them at the super market and spend half of your day preparing them.

This seems like a lot of work for many people, luckily there are easy ways to get the powerful benefits of vegies in your diet, without going out of your way. First thing, veggie smoothie to start the day, getting a good nutritious breakfast is going to change your entire day.

That is why they call it the most important meal of the day, because it really is. For my veggie smoothie, I like to get a good head of spinach and some strawberries and a banana.

The banana and strawberries are not vegetables, I know, but they do a great deal for the taste of the smoothie, and they are still very good for you. Another good ingredient for smoothies is wheat grass; this amazing grass has an astounding impact on health.

One shot of this wheat grass is going to supply your body with over 90 healthy minerals; just 1 ounce of this stuff is going to give you the equivalent benefits of eating one pound of green lettuce. That is nothing to sneeze at, and is why they call this stuff a super food.

Vegetables are going to do a great deal for your body, even though wheat grass is so fantastically healthy, it is still good to mix it up and get a healthy mixture of different vegies. For mid-day snacks try eating carrots or a salad.

This is a great way to speed up your metabolism: instead of eating three meals of protein and carbs every day, try eating three healthy meals with fruits and veggies and incorporate two or three snacks throughout the day as well. Having a faster metabolism is going to help you drop weight fast, which is something I think most of us good benefit from.

But it doesn't just help you lose weight; it does a great deal for your body in many other ways. Fiber in these vegies is going to clean your intestinal tract, and lower your cholesterol.

Without vegetables you can't really gain any muscle either. We all know that protein is the key to building muscle fiber.

But we need the amino acids from vegies to build and synthesize those proteins. So with your veggie smoothie in the morning put a good scoop of protein powder in there, and then go on a morning jog.

Do this for a month and you will be a changed man. These plants will also do a great deal for cleaning your skin from acne, and making you altogether a happier more well-rounded person.
