So you want to get some hardcore muscles that show people you are not one to be messed with. These are called glamour muscles, and you do not even have to ever fight anyone to get them.
All you need is a good gym membership, or access to a lot of exercise equipment. Glamour muscles are the muscles that are good for show, and a little less for function.
That is ok; you will still feel a huge benefit from developing these muscles. It is just when you work your glamour muscles you are isolating them and taking tension away from core muscles.
Core muscles are going to do a great deal to make you actually strong, without ever looking strong. These will also help your internal organs function properly and support your joints and bone strength; but we don't care about that we want to build our biceps.
First go to the dumbbells you are going to want to do as many curls as possible with as much weight as you can. Now give yourself some cool down time.
Then go to the straight bar and do some dual arm curls, this is going to even out the tension from your dumbbells curls, so that you have some nice and pretty even sized muscles. After you have burnt yourself out on the straight bar, take for another five minute rest.
Now go to the bicep machine, this is where you will end your muscles. You want to completely tear them to shreds,
Have you ever heard the term work till fail? Well, that is one of the major benefits of incorporating machines into your routine.
When you are working with weights you cannot ever completely go to fail otherwise you may drop the weight and hurt someone. The good thing about the weights though is they are compound exercises, meaning they are going to affect a wider array of muscles.
So when you are at the machine do as many reps as possible, on the last rep go down very slowly and freeze midway through the exercise. Hold it as long as possible, if you are not feeling a hard burning in your muscles you are not doing the exercise right.
This is the time when you are going to start having the greatest effect on your muscles; this is the time period when you start to really build muscle. Just be sure to get plenty of rest before your next exercise, and also get the right amount of protein so that you can actually pack muscle on.
Without the proper amount of nutrients you are not going to be building any muscle, but rather just tiring out your muscles. Your body needs protein to build muscle, remember that.
