There are many people these days that struggle to keep the weight off or feel they are not strong enough. Well if you have felt that you need to get thinner or stronger then you are half way to becoming the person you want to be.
All actions start with a thought, that thought then must be turning into a desire. Once you have that desire you have to begin to act upon it.
First compile a list of reasons why you would like to change. Maybe you really want to fit back into your high school pants, maybe you want to bench 200 pounds, maybe you just want to be a healthier person.
Any of these reasons is going to be good enough on its own. So decide what you want and write it down as a reminder of what you are going to be working toward.
This is called a motivational reminder. You could put your list of goals on the top of our calendar, or on the fridge or even on your mirror.
Be sure that the things that you want always stay in mind; consistency is going to be a big challenge to your health and life changing pursuits. You want to follow through to the end, right?
So don't let yourself forget or give up, and don't let friends who are bad examples veer you off course. Compose a calendar with routines and activities that you will perform, to help you toward your fitness and health goals.
Start with things that are easy and within your skill level. You don't want to discourage yourself before you have even started.
Simple activities like walking or jogging are perfect for people who are trying to lose weight, or for people who are trying to tone up their bodies. If you desire to build muscles, start with weights within your limits.
Get some supporters, just like bad friends can be a real burden when you are trying to change certain aspects of your life, good friend can be a great motivation. Find someone that will work with you and help you to stay on track.
Make milestones to work for, and then reward yourself. "For every ten pounds I lose I will go to Disney land", ok that may be extreme, but find something that works for you.
Remember changing all start with a desire, and as long as you can hold your desire you can keep motivated to keep working for your goals. Keep focused on the things that you want.
Do not thing of the work or pain that you must endure to acquire your goals. Instead keep a positive and happy outlook on the whole situation and you will do fine.
