Many people in America are considered to be overweight these days. That is fine, if you want to be overweight there is no problem with that.
However, for those of you who are overweight and wish to shed the grease, here is what you got to know. There are a lot of different types of fat in your body.
So you can't just exercise and expect it all to disappear. I'm sorry it just doesn't work like that.
First you have structural fat, this is the fat that makes up the cushion of your heels and protects your organs. This is good fat and shouldn't be messed with.
Everybody needs this fat, otherwise they'd get sick and could fall ill to some terminal disease. So if you are a little or a lot overweight, find comfort that you probably have very healthy amount of structural fat.
The next type of fat is normal fat. This is the kind that your body burns when it runs out of sugar in the blood.
This is going to be the majority of your fat content. This stuff is luckily the easiest to get rid of.
All you have to do is eat lots of leafy greens and exercise, and ,well crud, you could drop the pounds in matter of months or even half months. Use metabolic blasting exercises like tabata and sprinting to burn this fat.
These exercises are going to burn up your blood sugar real quick and start taking from your fat storage for its energy. So that will help you to drop the pounds faster than even jogging would.
It wouldn't be a bad idea if you wanted to combine the two types of exercises. Perhaps you could do tabata twice a week and cardio exercises for all the rest of the days.
This would certainly start building some heart strength and get you burning calories quick. I wouldn't be surprised if your friends thought you got plastic surgery.
Heck, go ahead and tell them you did. That way they will think you are rich; that's a win win situation.
The last bit of fat to be aware of is abnormal fat. This fat can be a real pain trying to get rid of.
It is locked away underneath the normal and structural fat, so if you want to get rid of it you have to go through the other fats first. However, there is something that can help.
