People ask if it is good to exercise every day; the answer is yes, it is good too, but it also depends on the type of exercise you are doing. There are many different types of exercise that can be done daily, but then there are some that should be spaced out through the week as well.
It is good to have one cardio or aerobic exercise every day. The muscle is a strong muscle and it can handle the pressure without any negative repercussions.
In fact daily cardio exercises are going to be the most beneficial thing you can do for your heart. I am a bit of a health nut and fitness freak, at least that's what my friends say, and I go running every day.
Although running isn't the only exercise you can do daily. Other good ones include biking, swimming, hiking, anything that you can do at a relatively leisurely rate.
Building cardio muscle is one of the best things you can do for your fitness. It is going to give you the strength to perform those intense anaerobic exercise, which we are all so fond of.
These weight lifting exercises should be down with five day breaks in between each one. That will allow for maximum benefit and muscle build.
But don't be discouraged, you can work your arms for one day, your legs the next, then your back, and then your chest... the list goes on and on. So you can spend every day of the week at the gym if you'd like.
Another concern is whether or not it is good to exercise while you are sick. Well I have developed an ingenious technique called the neck check.
If you have symptoms of sickness that are only prevalent in your face and head, then working out is alright, so long as you feel comfortable. If you have aches and pains through your body it is probably best that you spend the day resting rather than out in the gym.
The main thing is to just be aware of your body. If you don't feel like working out, then you probably shouldn't.
Being aware of your body is going to maximize your muscle build and decrease your risk of injury. Knowing your limits is going to be good for when you are debating whether or not to do two more or one more rep while doing the guillotine press.
It is also smart to have a fitness partner with you. Company is very nice especially when you are running or biking, and having a spotter to help you with your weights is going to prevent many accidents.
So remember cardio ever day no problem; intensive anaerobic exercise once every five days. This will get you on the fast track to fitness central in no time.
