Children these days are so susceptible. They spend half of their life in a public school, where they are bombarded with stupid information from bad influence friends.
Besides having unintelligent friends your kids come home and are brainwashed by the stupid television they watch all day. Yes, this is a little disheartening, but the sooner you come to your sense and see that this is a problem the better.
First off you have to talk to your kid, and explain the importance of physical activity. Tell him or her, that if they are not fit, they may live a lonely life drinking in a bar.
Or you could tell them, about how much money those over paid monkey athletes make. This will be a good learning experience for your child.
They will learn the value of money and of its importance in the economy, and they will also learn people will pay ludicrous amounts of money for silly jobs. This, if the talk is presented correctly, should make your child aware of how crucially important it is to have money and also how ridiculous acquiring said money can be.
Another valuable point to try to make clear to your child is the importance to be fit. It will be wonderfully time effective if you can get all this across to your kid in one conversation.
That way you won't have to spend any time on a second talk. Studies have shown that children who find an interest in healthy activity, generally live a happier and healthier life.
Generally healthier children are more socially inclined. This is because of their added level of confidence they have.
Many overweight and unhealthy children develop a certain bit of self-consciousness when and if they are not fit. This can lead to all sorts of problems as they age.
Many health problems lead to secondary emotional and physiological problems. Look at Chris Farley, outwardly he appeared to be a normal funny guy, but he was really a drug addict.
This is a sad thing to bring up, but you know he was probably insecure about always playing the fat funny guy who was usually intellectually inept in every movie. When you pretend long enough you start to find some of it to be true.
If you don't want your children to have a career like Chris Farley you should probably go out and find them for that health talk. Something that may even be a bit better for your children would be if you actually engaged in physical activity with them.
I'm not talking about ruffing them up until they stop acting like a fairy, but playing some football or baseball with the kid. Yes, at first it will seem foreign and uncomfortable to the both of you, but just act cool and eventually the tension will ease.
