Water, it composes 70 percent of the earth, 70 percent of the human body, and it composes a large portion of all plant and animal life too. H2O is the key to life; without it we would be dust floating about on a red planet, probably very similar to the situation that mars has going on.
Now days, everyone has bottled water or purified water. It seems like people are getting a bit paranoid with their water supply.
It very easy to clean water and most the time you don't even have too. Some people have been misinformed that water can go bad if you leave it sitting for too long.
That is a joke; look at the rivers and lakes where all the animals drink from. This water hasn't been diluted with chlorine or strained through charcoal, and it certainly hasn't been boiled.
I'm sure you have been swimming before, and did you die from it? No, of course not, water is going to last as long as you do, plus some.
The reason the taste changes when water is left in bottle over time is because the water is going to absorb some of the chemicals from its packaging. That is nothing to be concerned about, this happens from the moment that water is put into the bottle.
Water is, in fact, nature's number one dissolvent, which means that it specializes in breaking things apart at a molecular level. This is why many murderers will hide dead bodies in rivers or lakes or in the ocean, because they know the bodies will quickly decompose in the water.
But while our bodies are alive and un-murdered we require water to stay healthy. Interestingly enough, we use this substance for a wide array of health functions.
This water is going to help us metabolize our food better, and better absorb vital nutrients into our bodies. When you start dissecting our bodies and looking at how much water is where you may be surprised.
Our brain is nearly 90 percent water. That means it is one squishy mess of an organ, and you don't want to let that go dry.
It is vitally important that you get a healthy amount of water every single day. Make it a point to get a glass first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
Believe me, this may be the smartest thing you ever decide to do. Water really is the magic potion of miracle health, and many people just will not open their eyes to see it.
Change your life one glass of water at a time, at least eight glasses a day and more if you are living in dry desert climates. Destry Masterson is a health and nutrition expert. She publishes articles for http://www.dailybread.com and recommends them for food storage.
