Eating Clean Foods For Better Health

You probably don't think about how many germs are in or on your food, but this is a useful piece of information since some foods are extremely high in germs and others are extremely low in germs.

For instance, plant foods tend to be the cleanest foods having an average of 10 microorganisms or pathogens per gram. But, that is only if they are uncontaminated during handling.

It's not the strawberries, sprouts or spinach that have the e coli poisoning, it is the bodily fluids and excrement that happen to get on the food by workers or animals during picking and packing.

You may have some field workers who need to go to the bathroom when there is no bathroom available except the outdoors and the field. You may have people who cough or wipe their nose during the packing process.

All you have to do is wash your produce carefully before preparing it and make sure that your own hands are clean. Even with a careful washing, there will be a few germs somewhere.

You can be as paranoid as you want to be about germs on plant foods. But, there is a much bigger monster lurking that you may not even be suspecting.

Did you know that there are 20,000 microorganisms or pathogens per gram in the typical pasteurized grade A milk. Or, if you want to drink one cup of this deadly poison, you will be drinking five million germs.

Pasteurized and homogenized milk is known by some people as pus, hormones, and glue. Robert Cohen is the one who coined that phrase.

Then, you think, maybe you will just have a little patty of butter and be safe. But, no, there are seven million germs right there.

Cheese, that many love has 100 million germs per serving; one egg has 37.5 million germs; one serving of beef, poultry, lamb, pork, or even seafood has 336 million microorganisms or pathogens per serving.

Innocent honey that is considered a health food has 150,000 germs per gram, and a delicious serving of ice cream has 225 million germs.

So, if you are frustrated with how lousy you feel and decide that you would like to have energy, stop having illness, pain, and disease, then you will need to eliminate the animal products from your diet and lifestyle.

Yes, I know that is extremely difficult to do since the meat and dairy industries have paid for your current education and paranoia. How can you get protein if it is not coming from a dead animal of some kind?

How can you get your calcium if it is not from cow's milk? Did you hear about the guy who is going to drink the breastmilk that his wife stored up in the freezer?

He thinks it will somehow make him very healthy. The only problem is that there is an age where humans are weaned and no longer need milk, even if it is from a cow.

If you choose foods that don't stress out your immune system, you will start to have a lot more energy and concentration for school and work. Your body will not be all sludged up, and you will actually not age so fast.

You will find that a big burden has been lifted and you will be better able to deal with any drama and hardships that come into your life with a lot more vigor. Don't eat germs, eat some clean plant food.

Enjoy better health and less stress, more capability and greater strength to fight off the cold or flu germs that come around. Stay well.
