When I take on a new client, the first thing I make sure they are ready to do is commit. I do not like having little punks come to me for training and then one month later decide that they are bored with the workouts.
So for those of you who cannot see to working out I have created a list of ways you can exercise without having to workout. This is going to be fun for all of you who want to lose weight but do not want to do work.
The trick is to mask the work. (I know I probably just lost half of the readers) but it is true.
You have to have work for gain, that is a fact of life, and rings true more so in the health and fitness communities than anywhere else. So how do you make it seem like there is no work, easy cover it up with fun.
(There we go, now there back.) That is right, find ways to make your exercises fun.
Let's imagine you are a female, if you are a female do not imagine anything at all. Alright what is one thing all of you like to do?
Shopping... sure not what I had in mind but we will go with that. Alright turn shopping into an exercise, head your booty on down to the biggest mall you have in town, now just walk around and explore every store.
The great thing about this is, besides being good for your health and wellbeing it is also going to help benefit the economy. So you can feel good about yourself for helping with something that is a bit bigger than you.
Now before we started talking about boring old shopping I was going to say dancing. This is a great way to exercise without thinking about how much you are actually exercising.
Have you ever seen an overweight dancer (besides the one from that movie hairspray)? The answer is no, and that movie doesn't count because it has Zac Effron dressed as a girl... wait maybe that was John.
I don't know who it was, I just get second hand information from my daughter. Another way to have fun, go join an exercise a class.
Speaking of my daughter I signed her up for a dancing class; the best idea I ever had: send the cretin away for an hour every day. I haven't had more fun from a class in all my life, and my daughter says she likes it too.
It doesn't just have to be a dance class that you join, it can be anything: climbing, Pilates, I don't there are probably other classes two, but I only know of two.
