Everyone knows Christian Bale, if you don't then you probably know Batman from the 2005 Batman Begins movie. That man (Christian Bale) who played Batman in the movie weighed 180 pounds at the time.
Few people know that just 6 months before he did the movie Batman Begins, he starred in a movie called The Machinist in which he weighed only 120 pounds. At six foot, 120 pounds looks almost disgustingly skinny, well for some it looks worse than others.
But the astounding thing about this is that within the six months of films, Bale managed to put a good 60 pounds on. Now to be perfectly honest, he didn't look like he had the best physique ever, but then again he didn't look at all out of shape.
So if Mr. Bale can put on 10 pounds each month so can you. He was reportedly eating doughnuts while we was trying to gain weight; so if you don't do that then you may be able to get a better physique than mister Bruce Wayne.
The trick first is to eat more; if you want to be bigger you have to eat bigger. Make sure you are getting a lot of protein, this essential to muscle gain.
You can't gain muscle if you do not have the proper ingredients. Secondly you are going to have to start exercising, and if you are going to aim for 10 pounds a month, then you better exercise a lot.
I would say that 10 pounds a month is rather a lot to gain, even 4 pounds is going to prove to be challenging for some. Don't feed yourself unrealistic expectations.
If you want to gain 4 pounds in a month you are going to have to hit the gym at least twice a week, days that you do not go to the gym you will have to do at home body weight exercises. And you will have to get a good amount of rest every night, 8 or 9 hours should do it.
For the first week do HIIT cardio 3 three times, and do lactic acid training on muscle you wish to target growth and development on. These two types of exercises together are going to build muscle faster than any other combination, the only problem is lactic acid training can be harmful to your muscles, so do not do it more than once a month.
For the second week, do jogging, and regular weight lifting. For the next two weeks, mix in body weight exercises and HIIT.
This is going to burn extra fat, stimulate muscle growth, and tone your muscles so you look like an athlete rather than a meat head. Good luck with your weight gain.
