When suffering from chronic illness and severe disease, it is hard to maintain physical activity. Cancer can really take a toll on your body.
Depending on what stage you are in and where the cancer is, you may find exercising to be the most unappealing activity. Studies have shown that exercising is going to help in a number of ways.
I have never had to deal with cancer, thank goodness, but I do have friends and relatives that are distressed with tumors and cancerous growths. And I have seen that when they exercise there is an overall better radiance to their character.

This is going to create faster flow of anti-oxidants throughout the body. Free radicals are the cause of cancer; they are like bacteria that has no purpose but to infect cells.
Anti-oxidants are responsible for protecting your body from these free radicals, and when we exercise we actually help these anti-oxidants fight the free radicals through oxidation of the blood. Stress is another huge part of sickness.
It may sound like witch craft, but when we have negative thoughts we can actually make ourselves more sick. Stressful situations are going to leave you feeling spent, tired, and well, stressed.
Exercise creates endorphins in your brain, which are going to fight this stress. So even if you do not have cancer, but you are still stressed for no good reason at all, exercise is going to relieve a lot of tension.
There have been numerous scientific studies done by physicians, nurses, doctors and PhDs from all different hospitals and universities showing that exercise helps against cancer.
