How To Burn More Fat

There are many ways to burn more body fat. If you are overweight and know how to burn more fat, you can and will achieve the figure that you want. Of course that is provided you work on it.

One of the best way to burn more excess body fat is to increase your muscle mass by weight resistance training. This is because the more muscle mass you have on you, the more calories your body will burn even when you are at rest. This is because muscle is very active metabolically and some of the foods that you consume will also be used to feed your muscle instead of being stored as fat.

Many women are afraid of gaining muscle mass because they think that they will get ridiculously bulky. Ladies, you can jolly well be assured that you will not look like some professional female wrestlers for many of reasons. On the contrary, the muscles that you gain will give you the healthy well toned sexy figure once you get rid of your excess body fat.

Next, consume less poor quality carbohydrates. Poor quality carbs are carbs that are quickly digested like sugar, white breads, cereals, mashed potatoes etc. These carbs raise your insulin level very quickly and in the process causes your body to store fat.

Do you skip meals, or worse, skip breakfast? Never ever do that. It is not the correct way of eating fewer calories. When you skip meals and becomes hungry, your body will react in a way that there is a scarcity of foods and it will protect you by storing fat. Your metabolism will plunge drastically.

What is more, when you are starving, you will probably be eating more at your next meal and in turn eating more calories that will be stored as body fat.

When you are doing your cardio exercises to burn fat, try splitting your cardio training into two short sessions rather than a single long one. Many studies has concluded that people who do 30 minutes of cardio in the morning and then another 30 minutes in the evening lose more fat than those doing just one hour duration of cardio exercises.

Abstain from alcohol if you can. Alcohol is a toxin that is very harmful to your body, it also full of calories at 7 calories per gram. On top of that, people usually consume alcohol with a cocktail of sugary drinks adding even more calories. Can you imagine how on earth you are going to lose your fat if you consume alcohol this way? You will only put on more, won't you?

Do you have adequate snooze time? Sleep deprivation is going to upset your hormonal balance and suppresses fat burning hormones testosterone and human growth hormone. Deprivation of sleep also stresses you up and increases the production of cortisol, a hormone that is known to store fat.

Do consume foods high in fiber content such as vegetables, especially crucible vegetables like cauliflowers and broccoli. Not only does fiber promote overall good health, it is also significant in the fat burning process.

Follow the above suggestions, work on it and pretty soon you will see your excess body fat melting away.
