Many exercise and diet routines call for plans that are completely unrealistic. You can't starve yourself and expect to remain healthy, let alone lose weight and get rid of your beer belly. Hence, particularly when you are exercising a lot, you need to drink plenty of water and eat a well-balanced diet.

Remember that weight loss is best done as a marathon, not a sprint. In other words, it is a gradual process that takes time and effort. Fast weight loss is unhealthy and difficult to keep up. Therefore, take things slow and steady and you'll soon be kissing your college beer belly good-bye.
