The diet and nutrition industry has been lying to you for years; those super-metabolism fat burning pills are a hoax. They may cause you to lose weight temporarily, but they actually cause harm to the internal organs.
The first thing to do if you want a trim lean stomach is stop being duped by those gimmicks and hoaxes that all those scam sites are trying to sell. These do not work.
What they do is they put a chemical called epinephrine into your body. Epinephrine is naturally created in our kidney and is also known as adrenalin, so how could it be bad.
Well our bodies are very smart and quite adaptable, and they will try to maintain a level of homeostasis (balance). So for every artificial peak of excitement, there is always an equal or greater low that follows to regain balance.
Well when these products first hit the market a lot of people were hooked, because it was essentially a legal version of speed (though it was mild). But after there were a number of deaths caused by over use, the FDA took it off the market, now what is left are water downed products that are mainly composed of caffeine.
These may give you a good boost of energy, but they will not burn fat. If you want good lasting energy, that doesn't come with a harsh comedown than you need to eat healthy foods.
Proteins and whole grains are going to provide you with some lasting energy that will support you throughout the day. So stop with the gimmicks, the truth is these do not work.
The next biggest thing to knowing how to beat belly fat is to stop doing crunches. Instead of doing crunches work your pectorals and do sprints.
When you work your abdomen you are not actually burning a lot of calories, but in fact, you are pushing your abdomen out further by creating more muscle mass. This is usually not what we want to accomplish.
Some good exercise for a flat stomach would be planking, and aerobic maneuvers with a medicine ball. These are going to target and tighten core muscles in your body, which will bring your stomach inward rather than pushing it out ward.
The next set of exercise to incorporate into your workout routine is HIIT (high intensity interval training). This is going to create more fat burn than common aerobic routines, in half the time.
Don't expect it to be easy, this is going to be hard work. Interval training can really take it out of you, as it should.
If you are not feeling a burn when you exercise you are probably not doing it right. Start doing your HIIT, avoid "miracle pills", and eat healthy, and in no time at all you will begin to see results. Destry Masterson is a health, fitness and nutrition expert.
