Back pain it never seems to leave: we get it from walking, we get it from sitting and it even seems to come from sleeping. What are we to do about our suffering spines?
Well luckily there is a fun way to get our backs back in shape, and it is easy. I have been dealing with terrible back pain ever since I hit mid-twenties.
I used to be athletic, you know, when I was younger. I would play football and that is where I really did a number on my back.
I started walking a little different and that put pressure on different muscles in my back. Eventually I got used to the constant pain.
I would wake up in pain, but after about twenty minutes of movement I would get used to the strain again. Then after sitting while driving to work I would experience the same pain when I got out of my care.
And sometimes if I was lifting or just walking regularly I would notice out of nowhere a sharp pain in my back. I tried doing traditional exercises to strengthen my back, but they only seemed to anger the pain more.
Over time I started to notice that I would lean and move in awkward ways to avoid pain. This made for an exceptional poor sense of balance.
Frankly I was becoming embarrassed about the whole situation. I figured though that this was just aging and that it happens to everyone.
Well that is what I told myself, but in reality I saw that other guys my age were not suffering like I was. Then my wife got me a mini tramp type bounce apparatus.
I started doing exercises on this, and at first I did notice the pain would come into my back. But it was not as severe as regular aerobic exercise.
After a month of using the rebounder it became quite apparent that it was actually helping to strengthen my back. By now I could jog in place on this bouncy mat without any sort of strain.
I remember trying to jog on the sidewalk, the pain was almost unbearable. With every step I used to cringe, but now I can jog with much less pain.
And being to exercise daily without any painful repercussion has really improved my quality of life. Sleeping is better, relaxing is better, and I just feel better.
I have also noticed that my sense of balance and coordination has greatly improved since using this mini tramp rebounder. It is great to be able to watch your television shows while you are doing your daily exercise routines.
Heck, I have even lost a little weight since I started using this. I would recommend it to everyone who has back or joint pains. Destry Masterson is a health, fitness and nutrition expert.
