Eating it is what makes the world go round. Back around 1650 B.C. something happened that changed the world.
Men started cultivating and storing wheat, as a team. This bore the raise of a nation we know of as Babylonia.
When we figured that we could produce more food than we could eat, then we started to have time for other projects like building huge towers, and inventing computers (computers came later). Now days, food is so easy to get, we call it fast food.
Back then they would stock pile grain, now we have factories working ceaselessly to produce food the instant we want it. Food was for a long time produced by natural means of growing and harvesting.
That has changed and now most of the food we eat has been processed, pasteurized, and packed with preservatives. Food is our body's only source of nutrients, so what happens when we foods that have been robbed of those necessary nutrients?
That is when you have problems with health, namely obesity. Poor diet and nutrition is a double hitter.
If you do not have the proper nutrients in your body you won't feel the desire to work, play, or even move, thus creating lethargic slaves to the fast food industry. Maybe, you don't think fast food is that bad.
I agree it isn't. The problem isn't that it exists; it is how people use it.
People are giving up their nutrition for convenience and candy. Ok, I suppose it is not technically candy, but this stuff is so packed with sugars, fats, grease, and sodium it is cannot be accepted as proper food.
So what do we do? We eat natural whole foods that are provided by our loving Mother Nature.
I swear, even though whole foods may taste bland because they haven't been packed with sugars and spiced with flavor enhancers, they are going to make you feel much better. Eat healthy foods for a week and see how your body responds.
I can guarantee that you will feel increased levels of energy, less stress and anxiety and more peaceful and happy. That is not just talk either, there is sound scientific evidence showing that the nutrients in healthy whole foods is going to impact every organ in your body.
Do a simple experiment: when you wake, instead of eating sugary cereal eat an egg sandwich. Observe how you feel, you will notice more energy from the protein kick and lasting energy from the carbohydrates.
The only set back is that eating healthy cost more and takes a bit longer. For me it is a question of, how would I like to treat my own body, cheaply or nicely?
