Everybody is trying to lose weight these days. There is a lot of frustration out there as people gain and lose, gain even more and lose in a vicious yo-yo cycle.
It seems like you are getting fatter with every effort. One of the causes for this is when you go on a semi-starvation diet.
This is like a famine for your body and when you get off the diet, you can gain all your weight back plus more. Your body is very efficient at preparing for the next famine.
The result is that you ultimately gain too much. Rather than trying to lose weight by counting calories and eating less, why not make better food choices.
There is a way to lose all you want by eating all you want, but it is with high-fiber foods and with eliminating the animal products. The result is that you have more energy and whatever disease you had will start to reverse.
You'll have better health and best weight loss when you eat foods that are high in fiber. Fiber carries the fat out of your body through the digestive system.
Your liver is always trying to release fat, but if there is no fiber to connect with, it just gets reabsorbed back into the body and stored on you.
Whenever you eat foods that are high in fat such as cheese, and chicken or fish for example, you tend to gain weight. The fat in these types of foods just gets stored on your body and you will tend to be hungry still.
Your body craves and needs it's primary fuel source; carbohydrates. Avoid the refined and processed kinds like donuts and bread.
Try to consume wholesome, high-fiber foods like fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains, and beans. Then, you will get the energy you need from the more starchy choices like potatoes, brown rice, oatmeal, beans, and winter squash.
These foods also tend to have plenty of protein and fill you up without making you fat. Then, you can have the fiber carry the excess fat out, have energy to exercise to burn more fat, and enjoy better health.
There is a lot of false information out there deceiving people into thinking that they have to eat flesh and dairy. But, these foods can contribute towards disease.
Yes, many of your ancestors ate meat, but it was for survival. It doesn't mean they were healthy while eating it.
Eskimo bones from many centuries ago have been found to show traces of arthritis and heart disease. So, while it did save their life to eat animal products, it also shortened their life and contributed to disease.
But, that's the diet they needed for survival in a cold country, where plant foods were hard to have. It's your choice what diet you believe and follow. Maybe you should try out the various ones and see the difference in your energy level and health.
The Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine has a new four foods group that has been scientifically prove to reverse and prevent disease. It consists of healing plant foods.
