Working out can seem like a daunting task, who want to go lift rocks until they are too sore to move. Well if you want to be a man, this is how you do it.
But for those of us who cannot be troubled with exercise or anything that is not fun, how do we stay fit? Well the trick is to find a way of exercising that doesn't feel like work.
For me I took up gardening, I know it isn't the most intense exercise, but for me it gets my blood flowing and wakes me up. For those of you who want to do more than wake up, there are countless sports of varying risk and reward.
First we have baseball, this is a great sport for beginner exercisers because you spend almost have the time sitting in this sport. Another good thing about baseball, hardly anyone suffers from brain damage.
But honestly, if you look at the baseball players, even the professional ones, they don't have the best physiques. Then there is that new sport called parkour.
This is for those jerks who are so bored that they have to spend their time testing gravity. Unlike baseball with this you are going to develop a lot of core power and a wonderfully strong physique, but you also run the risk of death.
As of today there are not a lot of recorded accidents resulting with fatal consequences. That is because this sport is mostly done in private, so that means there isn't any committee counting fatalities as of yet.
But if you watch 3 minutes of youtube videos, you can see why there are going to be some expected fatalities from such a reckless sport. When practicing parkour you may not die, but you had better expect to break something, and if you're lucky it will be your finger.
I have outlined the two extremes here. One end of the spectrum is a basically benefit-less sport like baseball, and on the other is a highly reckless sport like parkour.
What I would recommend is something like jogging. This is more strenuous that baseball, and still less dangerous than parkour.
If you are still board with regular jogging, then you can always invite a friend to come with you. Perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea to invite a friend that could use a little physical exertion in their life.
I spent some time in Europe and I noticed something about their culture. Talking about weight isn't taboo.
People would openly tell me that I was looking fat. Here you can expect social exile if you said that someone and more so if that person was actually fat.
Oh the irony of political correctness. Find a fun way to stay fit. Destry Masterson is a health, fitness and nutrition expert. She has written articles about diet and exercise and recommends http://www.treadmillreviews.com for information about treadmills.
