Looking for a workout that does it all: one that will create muscle definition, burn fat, and increase cardio strength? It is called HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).
This method of training is used by the actors and physical trainers of Hollywood, because of it's astound physical benefits. Do you want to drop weight fast?
This is what you need to do, every other day, because of the high intensity, do these routines. It was shown that training with these routines will burn three times more fat than aerobic exercises.
Here is how it is done, stand on the track, preferably around 200 meters long, and run it as fast as you can. Don't stop until you reach the end.
Once you have finished running the entire track sit back and take a break for a minute. Try to get your heart back to a resting rate, you won't be able to but still try.
Now repeat this exercise again and again, preferably around four times in one session. You may ask how this is going to burn three times more fat than long distance running.
Well, when we do this our heart rate is raised to such an extreme level, that are body starts to burn as much fat as possible to get it calmed down. This means that after the exercise is over, you are still going to be burning fat.
This is the number one best way to drop weight. If you have extra budge around your belly, you can have it gone within a month with this routine.
Though it doesn't just have to be done with running, you can also do it with swimming or biking or even with body weight exercises. In fact you can do these HIIT routines on many different machines too.
The trick is two minutes of high intensity, meaning as much as you have got, and then 30 seconds of rest. This has been scientifically proven to be the most effective way to lose weight.
Losing weight isn't the only thing HIIT is good for. If you are trying to build muscle it is extremely effective as well.
We need blood flow to those muscles we are trying to build. The best way to get blood flow is through increased heart rate.
On rest days after you have done your weight training, do HIIT. The blood rushing to those sore muscles is going to foster growth and development.
The best way to a healthy and physically fit body is through routine. So keep in mind that doing anything once isn't going to change your life.
