There are two things you can do to cope with the knowledge that someday you are going to age so much that you die. They are firstly, try not to think about it, and, secondly, run as much as possible.
It is kind of poetic really: trying to outrun the inevitable by actually running. Everyone is going to get old and eventually die-At least as of now, with the technology we have, but that doesn't mean we should accept it.
Even though we will all eventually experience a terrifying and presumably painful death, we don't have to accept it. We should cherish every single minute of our life, and we should do all we can to preserve our youth.
Think of life as a gift, and the best thing you can do to appreciate it is by preserving it and cherishing it. Now isn't that cute.
To do this you will have to go running. Well there are other things you can do too.
But I think since death is kind of like Mother Nature's last vindictive act against each and every one of us, it is only fitting that we use Mother Nature provided perfect exercise: Running. Running makes use of every single muscle in the body.
That means you are going to get the most bang for your buck... in a sense. When you exercise you have got to burn calories by muscle use, so by using all the muscles you can therefore burn more calories, thus achieving max weight loss.
Now, isn't that an interesting thing to think about? I bet you have never once seen a fat runner, perhaps a fat man running, but never a fat runner.
Apart from making you skinny and more attractive to the opposite sex, it is actually going to keep you attractive longer. Collagen, that stuff that plastic surgeons inject into rich women's faces and sometimes in to vain men too, yeah that stuff; it actually is produced when we run.
We totally produce that stuff and guess where it is sent to- Yup, the face. You are actually out chasing after a natural face lift when you go running.
That will save you money, and keep you looking like you live in Laguna Beach. But life isn't just about looking good, and neither is running.
Regular exercise has actually been observed to increase sexual performance. There is nothing that say's "screw you to Mother Nature" like some healthy propagation.
And apart from looking fit, looking young, looking sexy, being sexy, you will actually start to feel better on the inside. I am saying you will feel sexy.
There is nothing better to defeat stupid concerns with death than feeling sexy. So get on your favorite swim attire and go run on that bike trail.
