Fat is something which most of the people are embarrassed about. They just want to lose it somehow. But, they don't realize that it is not only the tummy area that they need to think about but also their overall fitness and what will makes them feel good.
Overall fat is more common in women. This is because of the hormonal changes in them. Sedentary lifestyle, almost no physical activity and unhealthy eating habits makes them unfit.

There are many programs and supplements available for getting a six-pack. Here is the best way to getting trim and get a six-pack:
Exercise: Fitness can't be achieved without exercising and following a proper diet. You can exercise at home or join a gym. Personal training is provided in gyms, which will ensure that you are following the exercises in a proper manner and targeting the areas, which you want to lose.

You need to build muscle and burn the fat that is accumulated around your belly.
You need to target your core abdominal muscles to get a six-pack. Also, you need to do cardio-workouts for losing fat. Cardio exercises should be done 3 to 5 times a week. High intensity interval training increases the rate of burning fat.
Exercises like crunches, sit-ups, twisting exercises etc. Are helpful in losing belly fat and getting six-pack. Having a personal fitness trainer, or personal trainer is a great way to get your weight loss goal and six pack fast.

Diet: Diet also plays very important part in losing belly fat and getting six-pack. You get belly because of unhealthy eating habits. So, you need to eat a balanced nutrition rich diet. You should eat according to the number of calories that is required for your body.
You should eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. These are low in calories but high in nutrition. Some of the vegetables that help in fighting fat are broccoli, cauliflower, spinach and asparagus.
Eating fresh fruits and vegetables also provide necessary vitamins and minerals. Avoid eating canned food, chips, aerated drinks, sugary foods etc. Green tea helps to boost your metabolism, which in turn burns more calories.
Be sure to exercise your back muscles just as much as your abdominal muscles or you might develop poor posture.
Supplements can be useful, but they are just what they advertise themselves to be; supplements. There is no magic pill to make you lose weight with no work. There are some supplements out there that can help you lose weight by increasing your metabolism or by helping you curb your appetite, but you still have to work.

Most tend to be "snake oil" and will not really give you any results while costing you great deals of money. And remember, even if they DO help, all supplements still require the consumer to watch their diet and increase their exercise.
A simple multivitamin or mineral pill is likely all that most people will need.
Opinions on weight loss and muscle training routines are like noses - everyone has one but they're all different. In the end, you should find something you enjoy and that you will stick for life.

Over time, you can modify it until you get the results that are right for you.
Make sure you give yourself adequate amount of rest (8 hrs for adults, and 8-10 hrs for kids and teenagers). When exercising you actually break down the muscle and if you give then the proper time to heal (and eat the proper foods) they will grow back stronger than before.

It's a genetic fact that for some people there will always be just a little more fat over the muscle layers than we'd like. That's the way nature is and forcing your body to lose more than that can be a very dangerous effort.
