Everybody has got to eat; otherwise we would turn into Kiera Knightley or worse a super model. So we all eat, and some of us (me) eat a lot (like a grotesque amount of food).
Because I eat so much and so often, I got to thinking, "am I really what I eat". So I did some studies on different foods and found some interesting things that may make you scream (but in a good way).
First off, healthy food is like ridiculously healthy. I had no idea.
This stuff is going to pretty much cure anything, even bad looks. It is true, aside from shaping your body to look like a healthy working mechanism it is going to beautify your skin and actually make your hair grow.
Things that beautify your skin: fruits and vegetables and almonds. These are going to give you a bunch of what are called nutrients like vitamins and minerals.
What these do is they feed your body at a cellular level. It is hard to comprehend because you cannot physically see the cells eating the nutrients in your body, but after a few weeks of healthy dieting you are going to notice some good amount of change.
You see our bodies are macro organisms, which means we are complex and big (some bigger than others). We are made of lots of different organs, tissues and cells.
These organs and tissues are constantly working with each other just so that you can go throughout your day perusing internet articles on food. Well these all need specific nutrients to help them perform properly.
Hair for example something that serves no function, but for some reason people are fond of, this stuff is made of keratin. We get that from carrots, funny huh?
But we actually get a lot more from corn. What actually happens is keratin is a byproduct of biotin, and corn is packed with biotin.
So if you are trying to make your lovely hair look even lovelier, start eating some good-ol-corn. Now that we have good looking hair we just need a healthy looking body.
To achieve a good healthy looking body, you have to eat, but healthy foods like apples. Apples are packed with pectin, which is a soluble fiber that will reduce the release of sugars, which helps you feel like you are not hungry.
Then there are some scary things about food too. People thought tomatoes were poisonous until the 18th century; even scarier though fast foods, processed foods, and junk foods are actually poisonous.
Fast foods are shot full of things called excito-toxins. These are basically the nicotine of foods. Destry Masterson is a health and nutrition expert. She publishes articles for http://www.dailybread.com and recommends them for food storage.
