Since we were young we spent our days jumping on trampolines. We have developed an inherent desire to bounce on them it is genetically encoded into our brains to like that kind of thing.
Since it is such an enjoyable routine many people almost feel as if it is not doing enough for them. The fact of the matter is that these do more than any other exercise, according to NASA a whole 68 percent more.
Running is really great, it is going to blast your cardio and get you into shape just about as fast as possible... key word there "just about". Then there are other things that go along with running that are not so fun, like joint pain, and having to leave your house; those types of things just do not attract me.
Rebounding or bouncing on a small round mat in the center of my living room, however, does entice me. It is a great way to watch television and get fit while I do it.
I know you can't tell by reading this, but I am actually quite fit. It may come as a surprise to you, and it's all thanks to my rebounder and my healthy diet along with the numerous activities I do for recreational entertainment.
But it begs the question: what is so great about this rebounder that a fit young man should write about it in on online article? First off, I am just going to say one word: G-force.
Jumping on the rebounder is going to increase the gravitational load on your body, thus strengthening your musculoskeletal system. Not a lot of exercises do that you know, and that is why weight lifter in particular always suffer from crazy joint pain and what not.
In fact, rebounding provides no harmful stress or tension on any joints in the body. So you women that struggle with jogging because of your frail bone structure should just try this.
You are going to lose the harmful stress from those traditional workouts and at the same time you are going to strengthen and tighten your body. That is a win/win right there if there ever was one.
These also oxygenate the muscles more than any other exercise; because when you increase the gravitational load you are stressing every cell in your body... but in a good way. This causes cells to be better oxygenated.
Above all else these are a holistic benefit to your body. They work the cells like I said which will affect every organ in your body, plus they strain the lymphatic system.
If you are a med student, doctor, or just a knowledgeable person then you'll know that the lymphatic system plays a huge role in health. And by keeping it clean with the rebounder you can improve your health tenfold. Destry Masterson is a health, fitness and nutrition expert.
