Dinner: the last meal of the day; unless of course you are going to be having a desert or an after-dinner post-desert snack to settle your stomach. If you desire to eat healthy you probably won't take the desert or the after-dinner post-desert snack.
It takes approximately three hours for your digestive tract to get things from your stomach to your intestines and to start metabolizing, and we do this much faster when we are awake. It is easy to gain weight by sleeping on a stuffed stomach.
Your body simply isn't spending any energy to use the calories it is digesting, so they get turned into fat. What is more it could be affecting your sleep if you are eating right before bed.

Lunch can be whatever you want really, if you want more carbs that is ok, but getting healthy fruits would be best. It is best to avoid carbs and fruits at night because both of these are going to be easily turned into fats during sleep.
It is very important to get your fruits for the day, so be sure to incorporate them into your breakfast, lunch, or even eat some fruit as a snack in between meals. Eating more meals throughout the day is going to keep your stomach less stretched than eating fewer but bigger meals.
This can help you to keep a flat stomach. If you have a stretched stomach you are likely to also have a pop belly.
Some people call them beer bellies, but in reality it is the carbonation that bloats the stomach, although beer is very high in fat and calories. Try to drink water, eat plenty of vegies and some lean protein such as fish three hours before you are going to sleep.
This will be the healthiest dinner that could possibly be conceived. In fact, you could even add some natural yogurt to the mix, just to help the metabolism through the night.
