Eliminating Junk Food From Your Diet

To tell people to eliminate junk food from their diet is like telling them to stop having fun. But, the fact remains that the more junk food you eliminate from your diet, the easier time you will have to lose weight and to become totally healthy.

Junk food tends to be bad for your teeth. You probably don't want to end up with cavities and root canals on all of your teeth.

It is good to take some time to think about what you are doing to yourself. You may feel fine now, but if you continue your trend of eating a lot of junk food, it will not only affect your teeth, but your emotions and health as well.

Sugar can cause an initial good feeling as you enjoy the flavor. But, later, you can have a drop in emotions from the narcotic properties of the sugar. Many artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives can be added to your foods, which will set you up for cancer later and a less effective liver function.

The liver has a big job of filtering from your blood stream all of the toxins, extra fat, and cholesterol to be redirected out with fiber. Fiber is in wholesome natural plant foods; without it, toxins are stored in the liver or other parts of the body.

When the liver becomes too overloaded with toxic chemicals, it eventually starts to shut down. It becomes much less effective, and disease will begin in the body.

You can always tell the people who have bad livers, because they are starting to exhibit a disease. What you eat probably plays the biggest part in your present and future health.

There are now excitotoxins also added to foods to make them taste a lot better. These excitotoxins contribute toward great flavor, but they are not good for your brain.

Certain chemicals like MSG, or mono-sodium-glutamate add better flavor. But, they excite the brain cells, and then the brain cells die.

Red number 40 has been linked to problems with children who have ADD or Attention Deficit Disorder. It is also linked to other health challenges and should be considered a poison, but it is added to many foods for a red color.

You can check the ingredients, but since most red treats have this chemical, you might as well just stay away from anything processed and red. There may be a slim chance that the manufacturers decided to use natural beet color, but if they did that, they would advertise how natural the product was.

Everywhere you turn, there are toxic additives being included in your snacks and food items. It's helpful to know what's going on, so you can protect your health.

If you can eliminate the junk foods from your life, you will become happier and healthier. You will be more alert and able to accomplish your goals in life.

Make a note of the above mentioned toxins and start avoiding them. But, you need to realize this is just the tip of the iceberg, and there are actually many more unhealthy items in your food today.
