Those circus clowns they don't have it easy. You think you have it hard because you have to stand for multiple hours straight and type numbers into semi-automated cash registers.
Well, just so you know, these clowns that don't seem to do anything have actually trained a lot. When the ring leader is chasing the clown throughout the circus, because he keeps letting the elephants out of the cage, and he gets on to the high wire to escape and stumbles across to escape the wrath of the ring leader, this is no accident.
It isn't like these clown folk just accidently do a flip over a moving elephant or accidently tame a tiger after picking up the tamers whip and chair. No, each of these maneuvers is practiced extensively.
Sorry to burst your bubble. When that clown is walking the high wire, seemingly risking life and limb, he is really doing the same thing he does every day.
Yes that is right, walking on ropes is his job. As much as you dislike your simple lower retail cashier job, think about how much these people must hate their jobs.
Walking across tight ropes is not easy. In fact, it takes a lot of muscle.
Not the kind of muscle you can get by lifting weights either, you have to practice specific skills and techniques to develop those muscles. They are called stabilizer muscles, they are the ones that are centered in your torso and are sometimes called core muscles.
But they don't just walk on the tight rope they get across then climb down and ride out of the tent on a zebra. Now, riding a horse is hard enough, try riding a zebra.
So apart from having awesome core strength, these clowns have to exercise their legs and lower body to be able to ride away on that zebra without looking like a goof. Usually, however, they will ride away looking like a goof because they accidently get on the creature facing the wrong way.
Riding a zebra is one thing, but riding a zebra backwards is a skill. And if you want to be a clown you have got to start practicing.
Then 40 minutes after the escape the lion tamer is working the lion and Bozo comes back in on the zebra. The lion tamer of course gets mad, bozo jumps of the zebra, and the beast runs off.
The lion tamer goes to catch the zebra, and Bozo is left with the lion. This guy just walked a highline after climbing a huge latter and rode around on a zebra, and now he is going to tame a lion!
This takes a lot of physical endurance. Destry Masterson is a health, fitness and nutrition expert. She has written articles about diet and exercise and recommends http://www.treadmillreviews.com for information about treadmills.
