Have you heard of the red exerciser? If you have, I'm surprise; and if you own one, I'm appalled.
This is one piece of exercise equipment that is... well basically completely useless. It is much like a drum stool, padded and everything, but it also has handles, so it takes up a lot more space in your living room.
The trick to this exercise is to rotate your bottom back and forth from left to right until you are skinny. Ironically, however, you would probably burn more calories by standing near your window and looking outside; by standing you would actually relieve some pressure from your spine too, so...
The red exerciser can probably be found on Ebay, if you think that spinning in a padded stool is the workout for you. Though, using a regular couch for this exercise might be more effective, because of the added resistance in your couches inability to spin with your bottom.
Another interesting piece of exercise equipment is the swimmer pro; swimmer pro is a pole with a rope and harness. Everyone knows that swimming is an excellent way to get fit.
But if you want to get full effects from swimming, you have to harness yourself to a rope attached to a pole. It is shown that vainly struggling to swim forward while attached to a rope is the most effective way to get any benefits from the sport.
This is a fun way to feel like you cannot possibly make any progress while swimming, which we all know to be one of the best ways to stay motivated. Yes this is an extremely effective way to get fit, but some people just don't like how it makes them look like a wet dog on a leash when they use it.
The perfect at home exercise equipment, the slide and glide. These are a lot lock clothes, except for made of plastic.
Get on your hands and knees and put your hands in your patented slide and glides, now do some fun aerobic slide and glide exercising. Place your hands in the Frisbee shaped Tupperware and just pretend like you are cleaning the floor.
Don't worry though, you're not cleaning anything. It is like getting the workout of a good deep clean without having to do any chores.
This is going to be really great for all those snarky women, who have maids do their cleaning. And this is going to be really great for all those maids when they have the day off.
These work better if you have wood or linoleum floors, although they do work on carpet too. They practically work everywhere; take them outside on the grass, in the dirt, but not on cement.
Cement may cause your slide and glide disks to get scratched. And if you have used them outside you might have to wipe up areas inside where you have been working out.
