There is shape in everything around you. Look at your body and imagine where you are going to be in the near future.
This is going to create a line. This line will take you to your goal.
Every goal should be personal; if it is not sincere and not particular to your own needs then you may have trouble following through. So the best thing to do is outline your goal, figure the steps that are necessary to take you there.
You are going to have to use three different keys to take you down the path you have determined. These three different keys are going to create a triangle or an arrow that will lead you down the line to your goal.
With any physical goal you are going to have to follow these keys: exercise, nutrition, and rest. These are the triangulating forces that will carry you on your path.
No one aspect is more important than the others; you need them all for your goal to come to fruition. Exercise is obviously important and in some cases can even be overdone.
Using your muscles is going to cause calories in your body to burn, and it is also going to stimulate muscle development. You may be geared toward one more than the other; but even if you solely want to lose weight exercise is still necessary. Next side of the arrow is the nutrition. This is arguably the most important aspect of health.
Not because it is going to have the biggest impact or anything, but because it is the hardest for people to follow through with these days. Most people trade nutrition for convenience and speed.
Now if you had a Rolls Royce you wouldn't feed it garbage gasoline, but still people often fuel their body with less than great fuel. Where nutrition is the fuel, exercise is the activator, and rest is the restorer.
Now rest is the most down played of all three of these. You need rest to survive, without proper rest you would suffer from psychosis, neurosis, and all other manner of psychiatric disease.
More importantly than your brain health, is your physical condition and your goal meeting ability. Sleep is going to be the time when your muscles have a chance to repair and restore themselves.
So you see you need all three, the trinity of exercise just like the three houses of government, and like Christian faith would say, like the god head. There is truth in all things; and the fact of the matter is, you need the trinity for effective physical goal meeting. Destry Masterson is an author who has written hundreds of articles.
