Apart from exercises, you need right the diet to get a six-pack as well. Eating right will enhance your metabolism, which is necessary for burning calories. Eat smaller portions: Don't overeat. You can split your meal in smaller portions. This will give time for faster metabolism thereby burning of calories. Eat dinner at least two hours before you go to bed. This will improve your metabolism rate as well.
Healthy food options: Carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, proteins and fats are the essential components that your meal should have. You can have brown rice, whole grains for carbohydrates. For proteins, you have the options of eggs, fish, meat, milk, cheese, pulses etc. Fresh fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals.
For unsaturated fats, you can use vegetable oil.
Food items to avoid: Due to lifestyle, many people eat junk foods, canned and processed foods. Chips, alcohol, sugary foods, aerated drinks, white bread etc. should be avoided

Water: Drinking plenty of water will keep you hydrated and full. Before every meal drink a glass of water. This will reduce your hunger and you will automatically eat less. This way you can reduce your calorie intake.
