At a neurological level the brain simply works off electric pulses traveling through different path ways throughout the brain. Whether it is a complicated action or just a very simple thought, it is going to begin as an electric charge spurred from one brain cell.
The body is in many ways very similar to a machine. Take the car for example, you put the key in the ignition the battery triggers the spark plugs, and the entire engine is humming because a simple spark brought it to life.
Find the key that triggers the engine inside of you. All you need to do is get that motivating factor that is going to turn your desire into energy and that energy into action.
Once you start moving, after the very first step the body starts to create momentum. It is Newton's laws of motion: an object in motion will remain in motion unless acted upon, and an object in rest will stay at rest unless acted upon.
If you are in rest you have to find the desire that will trigger your ambition and actuate locomotion. Now simple laws of motion are easy to understand when considering blocks that are floating in zero gravity space, but when applying them to humans it takes a little more understanding.
Gravity is going to be working against your physical body, this may sound depressing and pessimistic, but it actually is a very beautiful fact of life. Without contrast, without adversity, without tension and pressure the body could never become stronger.
Gravity gives provides an almost imperceptible amount of tension, but without this your muscles and bone tissue would quickly start to deteriorate. Astronauts living in space have to work out for a minimum of four hours a day, so that they can maintain their physical health.
Because gravity is always going to be working to keep you pinned to the earth, you are always going to be propelling yourself forward. Now with momentum you can maintain speeds easier, but if you only are exerting the minimum force necessary you will quickly start to diminish in ability.
Life is wonderful in the way that opportunity is endless. At any given time in your life you can go further simply by trying to go further.
Progress is the key to joy in life, find some goals, create a desire, and start building progress. This is the number one best thing you can do to benefit any aspect of your life.
Start working toward your goals, whether they are fitness related or not, start working toward them today. Good luck and keep up the good work.
