The Relation Between Nutrients And You

People will tell you things like, "attitude is everything" which it may be. But, are you aware, that the nutrients in the food you eat actually have an astounding effect on your attitude.

The brain is the organ in charge of operations, whether they be physical operations, mental operations or even emotional operation, the brain is the motherboard that is controlling the process. In the brain there are many different regions that all do different things.

For example, the amygdala is responsible for emotions that come with the flight or fight instinct, and the neo-cortex is responsible for cognitive thought and awareness. Each of these different areas in the brain are going to work and produce different chemicals, causing different thoughts, actions and even emotions.

Holistic health practitioners will tell you that you can control your thought process and chemical production using meditation and proper diet. The healthy food is going to provide the tangible substances necessary for the chemical reactions in the brain, and the meditation is going to be the catalyst that stimulates the reaction.

Along with meditation, specific actions are going to develop health and positive emotion. It make sense if simply thinking about something can spur emotion, then acting something out is going to realize the thought and prove it on a physical level.

On a psychological level, exercise is rewarding because you are showing yourself that you are valuable enough to put forth a physical effort. You are proving the esteem you have for yourself.

Think of all the people for whom you would put physical effort toward. You would service them because you respect them and care about them.

Exercise is basically showing that you care for yourself enough to work for yourself. For proper health it takes three things: attitude, exercise, and nutrition.

The attitude is going to come from the meditation and the thoughts you hold in your mind throughout daily life. Attitude is going to be the stimulant that creates exercise and it is the catalyst that creates positive emotion.

Exercise is the actions of proving your attitudes on a physical level. Many people day dream about being something, the people that actually practice toward their goals, those who physically work toward them are the ones that are rewarded with their dreams becoming reality.

Think of the three of these like lines to a triangle, you need attitude and exercise to lean against each other creating the arrow pointing up. At the base of it all is nutrition.

Nutrition is going to actually provide the chemicals and energy that will allow you to work toward your goals. Just like air and water, nutrients play a vital role in life.

Many people these days are finding out that poor nutrition can lead to a number of disadvantageous disorders. Start changing your life at the base of it all, with good nutrition.
