Eating Food For Healthy Purposes

Everybody will tell you, you are what you eat. But, apart from copper coated cliches that aren't worth a single penny, you really are going to be what you eat.

You could break nutrition down to an atomic level, but that is just excessive so we will only go as far as chemical level. The body is like a machine, it is not made to be used for blind indulgences but rather to perform actions toward purpose.

Like any machine the body needs fuel, so you have to look at what you are putting into your body and determine whether it is going to do any real benefit. The body needs a number of different nutrients for thousands of different chemical reactions that happen every single day.

Constantly the body is using magnesium in the synthesis of proteins and anti-oxidants to combat free radicals, and that is just two examples of the unseen operations that are happening inside of you. These things are happening all the time and all thanks to the fuel that you consume.

Imagine if you were trying to run your cars on grease rather than gas. Unless you have one of those grease car vegetable fuel cars, then this is not going to work.

The car needs that combustible gasoline in order to create locomotion, and without it there is no way that you could get to work. Now when you are at work you also need fuel that is going to provide combustible energy.

You don't want to be a lazy slop and kick around work without performing at a hundred percent, so to get the most out of yourself you have to put the most you can in. Diet directly correlates to mood and energy levels.

It shouldn't come as any surprise that people who eat a healthy amount of fruits and vegies generally have more energy than those who do not. It is because their organs and their insides are being fed the nutrients that are necessary to promote good health.

Foods like peaches are going to provide great amounts of anti-oxidants and even some beta-carotene, though you could get these nutrients from other foods too if you are not particularly fond of peaches. Start eating for fuel rather than for pleasure and you will see the impact it has on your life.

When you start using your body as a machine for purpose you start finding joy in life. When you are only eating to fulfill blind indulgences your joy is only as temporary as the meal in front of you.

There is some wisdom in that, take it for what it is worth. Don't be a swine amongst pearls.
