Eat For Fuel Not For Fun

Society is changing daily, it seems more and more every day common man is taken a little further from nature. In many ways there is virtue in the development of man, but as a race people must stay grounded otherwise they will fall.

Now this probably all sounds very ominous and like it is blown out of proportion. Sure you can eat whatever you want, and most likely you will probably live to be fifty years old and only be sort of overweight and not completely obese.

But eating healthy foods does much more than add 30 plus years to your life and make you look like a sexy step brother of Brad Pit, it actually works within you to promote many different chemical reactions that produce a variety of diverse benefits. From the development of adenosine triphosphate (ATP)-that stuff that makes you have energy-to the production of endorphins in the brain-the chemicals responsible for making you feel good.

Specifically foods like jalapenos are going to provide an increase in serotonin at such a large level it should almost be considered illegal. Though, they are not illegal and so you can still eat them guilt free and, in fact, happily.

When eating foods that increase serotonin you will be, scientifically proven, happy. It is not up for dispute it simply is a fact, jalapenos make people happy.

Despite the wicked burning sensation in the mouth and the over stimulation of the tear glands, you can bet your bottom dollar that you are totally happy. Though, chemically altering your mood through food is not always going to be good.

When you turn to the dark empty void that is nutrition-less meals you can actually be getting what are called excito-toxins from your foods. MSG (mono sodium glutamate) is one of the most popular excito-toxins in society today, coming in almost every fast food meal it is practically unavoidable.

This chemical, MSG, actually has been shown to cause brain atrophy in small rodents, so why does the FDA (food and drug association) allow these to be added to practically every single marketable produce? That is a question you have to ask the FDA.

When you start eating for fuel rather than for fun you will find true joy in your life. When you are purposefully set to a specific path you will find galvanic pressure within yourself growing from day to day, this is the joy that comes with healthy diets.

However, when you are blindly led by carnal indulgence your happiness is only as temporary as your super-fudge caramel coated turnover. So, it is up to you, decide whether you are going to eat for pleasure or for purpose.
